INAPPROPRIATE USE OF LAXATIVES
People who use laxatives on a regular, even daily, basis are making a big mistake instead of helping their bowel muscle to work efficiently, they are encouraging it to be gluey, which can actually cause constipation When laxatives – including the plant or fruit-based preparations sold in health food shops – are overused, the bowel can start to rely on the laxative to stimulate it into action.
